On the First Day of Giftmas…

I think it was the Elf gift tag that attracted me to open this one first. That, and it’s a smaller gift that I placed up front of the tree. I try to open things that I think my cat might get too interested in first if I can.
Bright green and cute wrapping were also factors.
Inside:
I absolutely adore Kate’s artwork and the message she spreads of self-care and mindfulness. I’ve been on a big mindfulness attempt in my life lately, so having her lovely art each day is going to be something to look forward to next year.
I don’t think I’ll be able to throw away the pages of this calendar, though, so I’m going to have to think about how to repurpose them. Maybe in some sort of journal – which I do want to work at keeping in 2024 anyhow.
I did pick up a Trapper Keeper this past year for the nostalgia of it, and with the idea to do something colorful in the vein of a modified bullet journal. So maybe I can make a project out of it and the calendar pages. Should be fun!
PS – I was told that the bag of coal is a gift and should not be dismissed. Now I am very curious, and will count it towards the gift number.
