Spirit City: Winter Wonderland Update

Yesterday, Spirit City dropped the much-awaited Winter/Holiday update and it did not disappoint! Not only that, but the dev team also announced the first DLC for the focus tool, and you can pick up the base program on sale for 25% off!

While I still am using my fall décor at the moment, as I do not tend to switch to holiday decorations in games or IRL until Black Friday, I have already taken a peek at the decorations for Winter, and they are plentiful! I’m also a fan of the ability to save decorated rooms as sets – though I’m going to need a lot more than the initial three we’ve started with.

There’s also a new spirit to unlock, so it’s time to get focusing!

The first DLC has been announced, and cooking/kitchen lovers can rejoice! This one will be just for you!

If you were worried that functionality would be locked behind additional DLC, the team has already made this statement:

Remember this: Our DLCs will never include new productivity feature or QOL updates, those would always be added as free updates. Instead, we want our DLCs to be adding to the existing fantasy of Spirit City with new locations, new spirits, and more to discover!

I’m still enjoying my time using this productivity tool, and I’ve seen more and more folks discussing it on BlueSky lately. Seems like Spirit City has a good thing going, and we’re all enjoying the ride. I know it makes my work-time sessions far more enjoyable!
