Here Comes Blaugust 2025!

It’s almost that time of year again – when fearless bloggers put their fingers to the keys and do what they do best. Write blog post for the Festival of Blogging we know as Blaugust!
While this is usually spearheaded by our beloved leader Belghast, this year, the mentors are carrying the banner to provide him with some much-deserved and needed rest. With all the things I’ve had going in IRL this year, I had doubts about whether or not I’d be able to tackle Blaugust, myself. However, seeing the troops rally as they have, I decided to give it my best shot!
After all, Blaugust is not about the number of posts you write. It’s not a competition or even really a challenge.
Sure, it’s a 31-day event with brackets of awards for those who post a certain number of posts within the month. But most importantly, it’s about connecting with the blogging community, encouraging new bloggers to dip their toes in the water, and cheering each other on as slumbering bloggers return and remember what made blogging worthwhile to begin with.
