Internet Archive’s MS-DOS Game Library Fulfills Oldskool Dreams

I’m playing Oregon Trail again! The ORIGINAL Oregon Trail!

Hey, Oldskool DOS PC gamers, or those who are just curious in such games. Got the itch to relive the gaming magic of yesteryear? The Internet Archive, maker of the Wayback Machine, might just be able to scratch that itch with their online free MS-DOS software library! Streamed directly in your browser with an online DOS emulator, I saw classics such as:

  • SimCity
  • Oregon Trail
  • Prince of Persia
  • Super Street Fighter II
  • Lost Vikings
  • Maniac Mansion
  • Moon Patrol (woo!)
  • Lemmings
  • And many, many more!

The archive currently holds over 2,000 DOS-based games, so check it out and see if you find something that takes you back in time. Enjoy!
