Ark: The First Night of Ooga Booga

Oops. Looks like Ark was on sale at Steam and my zombie hunting troop decided to play with dinos for a change in pace. Took most the day to figure out how to get the private server to work properly, but it was worth it.

Syn even figured out how to build us a nice little beach shack pretty quickly.

I find it strange that when you log out of the game, your body still remains in world, interactable. Just kinda… flopped over.

I have a feeling our little Ooga Booga tribe is going to have some fun! 🙂

I'm a technical writer by day, gaming gal by night. I have a wide array of gaming interests, though I most often blog about MMOs, RPGs, and Nintendo fanstuffs. Like what you just read? Check out my Webcomic and Fantasy Fiction projects!

  1. More please! That way I won’t look so weird when I start gushing.
Assuming I start gushing. I might hate it, but I have a feeling I won’t, if I can find the right place/people to play with.

Anyway, if I hate it that’s grist for the blogging mill too.

    1. Hope to have plenty of this to come. We only had a few hours in game once I figured out the server, so I’m sure there’s a lot yet to discover!

  2. Don’t be too sure! I wasn’t convinced it would be my thing either, but there are a number of different ways to play it. I don’t want to toot my own horn but I did do a first impressions post today, as it happens. 😀
