FFXIV: Patch 5.2 – Echoes of a Fallen Star Trailer

Today’s Live Letter brought us the trailer for the upcoming patch! There’s a lot going on in this trailer and I admit that I’m a bit confused at all of this — Yoshi-P did acknowledge that it won’t all make a lot of sense because there’s just so much story to this patch, they couldn’t put most of it in here (of course).

I’ve been reading the Live Letter transcripts – not done quite yet – and trying to sort through everything they covered in it. The one thing I do know is I need that Serpent of Ronka mount!

  1. Few MMOs make me want to go back to them, i really want to play XIV, last time i’ve done most of ARR MSQ and stopped there to come back later, i know there is too much in front of me to reach Shadowbringers, but i want to do that as soon as possible without skipping old content.

This patch seems heavy with lore, which is the main reason why i play it … and also Hildy quests 😀

    1. It’s never too late to jump back in. If you enjoy story in an MMO, FFXIV just keeps getting better! I know it seems like there’s a lot of content between you and Shadowbringers, but you’ve actually got the best yet to come if you’ve cleared most of ARR. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to give it another shot!
