So I attended the speeches of the rememberance ceremonies for each nation, and was able to choose my Grand Company. I went with the Immortal Flames because (from what I heard) the armor is more suited towards mages and I like the color blue.

The representative from the Twin Adder Grand Company reminded me of Zeb.

So I’ve been questing hard after finishing all three dungeons in the personal storyline leading up to level 20. I finally reached 20 this morning and all my concentration is going towards getting that chocobo!

I took a chance and grouped up for Tam-Tara Deepcroft tonight. I ended up with a very good group and a very experienced tank. We burned through that place without a hitch and I learned a lot about healing with a focused tank.

So tonight I braved my very first dungeon in FFXIV. I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but I got in almost instantly with the Duty Finder. Nice to be heals. :)

I worked Zuri up to level 14 last night, moving through some of the storyline I’ve not experienced yet. I do have to admit that one thing this game is good at is making your character feel like they’re someone very special. I like that.

So after my previous posts about Zuri, Jettschae invited me to a different server to hook up with their FC. So, that’s what I did – re-rolled on the Midgardsormr server. I’ll probably roll an alt on Gilgamesh, but for now, I want to play where I know a few folks.

Cat’s out of the bag (hahaha). I picked up Final Fantasy XIV a few days ago. More about my thoughts on this later.
