No Man’s Sky: Building a Corvette in the Voyagers Expedition

Not all too long ago, No Man’s Sky introduced a new type of ship called the Corvette – one that you could completely build from scratch. This has apparently been a huge success in terms of bringing folks both new and old back to the game, especially for the newest Voyagers Expedition.

Almost every major patch, I spend a bunch of time running Frontlines PVP roulette in FFXIV, often on two different characters. While PVP tends to get a bad wrap in the game, and despite me not liking competitive PVP in most games… something about Frontlines just isn’t so bad to me.

I’m several days late in writing up this post. However, this past weekend, I finally finished filling up the Aetherwell stage of the Dawntrail relic weapon!
FFXIV: Ranking Up in Achievements

While I’m not very much of an achievement hunter in the games that I play, FFXIV included, I have decided to casually work on cleaning up achievements in my log as of late. This is somewhat inspired by videos on achievement hunting that Cider Spider creates – as I keep up with all of his adventures on YouTube – though I’m nowhere near as dedicated a gamer as he is.

Last week, I talked about the crafting and gathering step in the newest FFXIV relic weapon development. I spent a lot of gil to gear Tad up for his Hand and Land jobs, and really haven’t seen a huge return on investment in terms of what I spent.
FFXIV: Patch 7.31 Relic Gathering and Crafting Rush

Final Fantasy XIV just dropped patch 7.31, which brought new steps to Dawntrail relic weapon development. Much to my surprise (and somewhat delight), this harkened back to the older relics which required the help of well-geared and maxed-leveled omni crafters and gatherers.
FFXIV: Our 12th Year Anniversary

Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn has just celebrated its 12th year anniversary on August 27th. This means that as mid-September rolls around, I’ll have been playing this MMO for 12 years straight, without a break in subscription, and pretty consistently over the years.
