This week, the news many of us have been waiting for arrived – the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2. We got a nice hardware trailer and a little bit of information about the system, with a promise of more info to come during the Nintendo Direct on April 2.

Buggos is a RTS auto battler where you play as a hive of alien bugs invading a planet and waging conquest over the human race. It’s presented in a retro pixel art style, and has a good sense of humor overall.

Trading Towns is a pixel graphic economic game where you expand the lands around your town, discover the resources there, and work to make it prosperous. There’s actually a nice game idea to enjoy here, and I really wanted to like it. However, some UX design flaws and the overall unoptimized gameplay put me off after a short time of gameplay.
FFXIV: How to Find an Art Party in 2025

Attending art parties in FFXIV is one of my favorite semi-social activities in the game. It’s usually a chill get together where your character hangs out in a set location, sometimes with themed glamour. If you’re an artist and feel like drawing other people’s characters, you have plenty of willing and often thankful folks standing as a model. If you’re not an artist, that’s not a big deal – come to hang out, maybe socialize (not required), and sometimes get your character drawn as a bonus!

It was all of a couple days ago that I discovered a new term for what I am – a multi-passionate creative. In a nutshell, this means I pick up many hobbies, explore many creative avenues, and have way too many projects going at one time.

This is an RPG deck building roguelite that incorporates some poker hand elements. I do enjoy a good battle card game roguelite type game, but it took me numerous rounds of failure before I was able to clear the Warrior story tutorial.

Buckle up, I’ve got a big list of goals for 2025! I’m including a few project-type things in here this year, as well, which is new. Some of these goals are repeats of previous year goals, things I want to maintain and do better than last year.
